I am new member, my name is Buddy. I fish mostly Pa. and NJ. I do make 1 or 2 trips to Lake Champlain a year and NH around the Henniker area to fish local lakes. Love smallmouth fishing. I am now fishing out of Nitro Z7, old boat was Nitro 1999 time to upgrade.

Welcome to the board. I have fished a bit around the Henniker area but mostly for largemouth though most ponds and lakes have both.
Franklin Pierce, Gregg Lake and a handful of others that their names escape me at the moment. Not the classic NH smallmouth water like Winni, Winnisquam or Squam, but good places to fish for sure.

Thanks Roy and everyone else. Hopkins Dam (marsh) is excellent Lgm. I also fished lake Masuseccum on the way out of Henniker. (Excuse spelling on these lakes). There is a river that I pass going over bridge from VT to NH. I believe it is Hinesdale area of NH. That river just looks so good. Never took the time to fish it. I love Champlain, spend a lot time there around North Hero Vt.

Came in early the first trip there and did not see the sign. Must have had the street lights dimmed that morning Oh yeah thats right, there are no street lights or any other for that matter . AYUH, LOVE NEW HAMPSHA. The river you are seeing is the CT River. There are two launches not far from the bridge. As you head north it gets bit tricky to navigate. South all hazards are pretty obvious.
