First day bass fishing this year and a paper tournament too ;D Not the best day for me. Matt and I managed 3 keepers for 5 lbs and we were penalized 1 lb (20% of our weight) for being late (1 minute) to the weigh-in. I guess a late penalty will be more of an issue when we are actually weighing fish  All in all a good day on the water fishing with the club! |

I wish I could have made it. Sounds like it was a tough bite, especially for the bigger fish. Went out today and did about the same as you. Put a lot of miles on for few fish.

1st: Jody White & Bill Brown 14.5 lbs 2nd: Erik Rasmussen & Jim White 13.13 lbs (with 1 lbs late penalty) 3rd: Jim Wright & Kris Martin 8.5 lbs 4th: Taylor Renaudette & Brock Quesnel 7.49 lbs 5th: George McPhail & Matt Poissant 4 lbs (with 1lbs late penalty) 3:01 is not 3:00, I called the tournament director before assesing the penalty. A rule is a rule, and yes it will be enforced for the regular season. We will make sure we do a better job of announcing the official time at take off  |
