I was just posting to see if there would be any interest in starting a club either affiliated with bass or FLW out of southern vermont. I'm a member of Rutland Bass right now but find it difficult to make many of the tournaments like the midweek ones due to the travel. I wanted to see the interest to fish places like the Connecticut River out of brattleboro and springfield, Lake Sadagwa, Harriman Reservoir, and still do tournaments on lake champlain and maybe bomoseen and st catherine. Just a curiousity posting but maybe turn into more!

There is a club in SOVT right now, but they are not affiliated with B.A.S.S. or FLW.
There is also Monadnock Bassmasters southern NH. I think they are a Federation club.
My plan for the upcoming season is to get my wife more involved in fishing so fishing in a club would not work for me right now.

thanks roy for the info. i checked on Monadnock and they don't do any tournaments in the state of vermont. i will probably fish a few tornaments with southern vermont bass this year. I met a few guys from the club at the Bill Brown Memorial Open this year and it seems like a bunch of good guys. I also fished the State Qualifier this year for the first time and although i didn't do that well, i thought it was a blast. That would be the reason for the Bass or FLW affiliation.
