I was in BPS site to day and saw they had the Bandit Sq bills 100's on sale for $3.88. I know there are several of you that fish these so I thought I'd pass the info along. Don't know if that is a good price or not, I've never tried them.

Well $3.88 is about one half of what I recently paid Tacklewarehouse for some close out Lucky Craft Rick Clunn 3.5 BDS square bills ($7.99) ;D . Bandits are good lures and you can't beat the price.

That's a great price on a great little bait. These have been a favorite of mine for a long time. Regular price is about $4.69. Last year TW had them for $3.79 and I bought a bunch. My favorites are the chart/black/black scale, crawfish brown/orange belly and crappie. Like the Footloose too as well as the 200 and 300 series. Tried the Square Bill and the Bandit 250 last year and liked them both. I always change the round trebles to a Mustad KVD Elite Treble or before they were available a G'Katsu EWG; www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_S63TXMXuc

Thanks, Brian. I use Bandits for most of my crankbait casts.

Damn, I wish I could change hooks that fast. I always have a hard time. Brian, get a split ring tool at a craft store such a Michael's. You will be able to change hooks very quickly. Mike

Damn, I wish I could change hooks that fast. I always have a hard time. Here's a new twist that will help in changing hooks. I've used Owner feathered trebles that have a flat thin eye which are super easy to slip into a split ring. I need some trebles so if I see any I'll pick some up and try them. G'katsu's are always sharp but I found them to be a a little wimpy. This one is supposed to be stronger than the standard.

I've used trebles with the flatter hole and they are easier to handle. I've got a couple pliers designed for splitting rings and found they don't help that much. It may just be me too.
