NYS to allow more cow $hit near waters

While its great for dairy/yogart industry I'm not sure how much our fishing waters will suffer.

This would add 3 million additional pounds of cow urine and feces a day! Are they crazy?

It's all about money. The Greek Yogurt industry in NY is on fire and anything goes. One of the huge plants in west part of the state had been pumping several million gallons of water out of the ground then they were permitted to do and got a slap on the hand. No one would of known but they were expanding and it came up during the application process to expand. I think it's great the farmers have a new market and we have plants making a popular healthy product (we eat a lot of yogurt in my house). But it would be nice if they were a little better neighbors.
