I met Mike H on the way down to Ti as he lives E. Montpelier and I live in St. Albans. The day which had started out as sunny and blue skied turned to rain and dark clouds on the way there. We launched in the rain at about 1:30 with air temps about 9 degrees lower than before the rain. The sky now filled with black clouds and thunder rumbling in the distance. The water was the color of coffee with cream and practically no visability. Seemed to call for dark baits with the added dimension of sound- rattle trap- spinnerbait. We tried a little of everything for about 4 hours and caught 3 fish between us. As the wind picked up and thunder got closer, the thought of tomorrow is another day prevailed. The next day we launched in the morning an fished for 8 hours. The water was a little clearer than the day before and it was sunny and pleasant. Water temps mainly in 57-58 range. We caught 30+ between us with only 2 SM. One weighed just under 3 lb. We threw a lot of baits early, but the wacky rigged Senko was what they wanted. All fish, including SM, were caught in water 5' , or less. Best fish were 3.5 and 4.25, both caught by Mike. Bob

Brock, You won't believe this , but Mike is the one who got going with the Senko first. We hope to get back down South again before the end of May. Bo
