Link to a thread with some personal pictures by the dad of one of the competitors. Thought Jody and some others might be interested. Question Jody - Do they put any limits on the speeds for the college students? I've been in and have driven the Eyra with a 250 SHO at 74mph, the guy who owns it just broke 80 mph yesterday on a very short stretch of river. I know of others that have had that same set up going faster then that. I'm wondering if they let you students go that fast. I know they limit how far you can travel but wondered about speeds too. Just curious. I know it depends on the boat. I felt comfortable in his doing mid 70's and I think most would. But I'm pretty sure I'd have to change me drawers if I got mine going that fast as I'd be on the very edge of boat control though I know a few that drive the same hulls mid 70's routinely. I just can't seem to master the chine walk on mine or probably should say, I haven't taken the time to learn the technique. I prefer to fish instead of running and low 70's is probably plenty fast. That and I'm to cheap to burn all that gas/oil to learn how to do it...... Figured I'd say it before Bob did.... basscatowners.yuku.com/topic/22065/BASS-College-Nationals-Pictures
