Fished the Rutland BASS paper tournament on 04/25. I didn't have very high expectations from a poor trip on Friday. Hit our first spot and started getting 1-2 pounders and landed a 4-4 on the 4th or 5th fish. Sat on the same spot for almost 2 hours and caught around 15 LM. The fish were in a small patch of emerging weed on the outside of a spawning bay in 4-6 feet of water. Went to a second spot that set up the same way and landed several more. Went back to the first spot with about an hour to go and caught several more off from that spot. Total for the four hour tournament was close to 30 for me and my partner. Best five weighed 17-7. All were caught on lipless crankbaits. Biggest of the day

Awesome job Brian, starting the defense of your AOY trophy? You know these paper tournaments don't count, let someone else win one Thanks for the help out there, unfortunately the only green fish I could find consistently were chain pickerel

Nice report. It's a solid pattern.
