Hello folks just found this site earlier this Spring and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Chris Weber, I live in Hinesburg, VT with my wife and little girl. I've been fishing for basically my whole life. I was a Trout/Fly guy until a few years ago when a buddy got me into Bass and Tournaments and haven't looked back. I fish in the CCB club and am a member of the TBF State Team for 2012. I have a 14' Square stern canoe (Ugh-Glee 1) that I have outfitted with a TM and stabilizers so I can stand up to flip and toss big dumb swimbaits. I love fishing the smaller waters in the area and have found and caught some very surprising fish in places that I would never have figured had fish or were even fishable. Anyone that wants to get together in and fish let me know!
Chris

Welcome Chris. I got my start on the water in a canoe as well. Bought a brand new Coleman in 1977 for $266 wtih paddles, cushions, etc. The small waters often hold the biggest fish so the canoe is ideal for gaining access to them.
Sold the canoe about five years ago for $150. I think I got my moneys worth.

Welcome aboard Chris. Looking foward to reading your reports. I like to get the kayak out and hit some of those small waters looking for lunkers or at least some quiet fishing. Although I don't stand up to flip Frogging works well for me in the thick stuff

Thanks for joining the forum, Chris. We have a ton of small waters around the state that can't be fishing with the big bass boat rigs, and they hold some giant bass! Looking forward to some reports with photos!
