I got a few packs of these this winter and finally got around to fishing them last weekend in a tournament on Claytor (lake in VA). It as a very slow day but I did get one keeper to bite on them (he got off though, probably a 2 place fish). The worms rigged perfectly, held up well and looked great in the water. I fished them on an Owner shakey head. The tail really does float and looks sweet down there. I'm excited to fish them on Champlain for some smallies.

Figured I would update this as I have now tried them on Champlain. They work great up here too. With or without the yellow tail.
