I was not able to go. My mother-in-law is gravely ill and I needed to there for her and my wife. We will get there someday but for now plans are on hold. Hope the weather did not keep others from going. Roads were a bit slick when I left. The snow gave way to fog through Mass and CT. Turned into a nice day weather wise, 55 degrees and sunny.

Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. Will say a prayer. Me all bust on our M-I-L's but most of them are as sweet as our own mothers.

We went, had a good time. I did not spend too much, trying to be a good boy this year. Only bought 6 square bills, a 25 pack of drop shot hooks and some Strike King Rage Craws. It is was more about getting out for the day and drooling over tackle and boats for me. One of our club members gave me a call on my way down and had me pick up a couple of reels for him. Wait until he gets the shipping and handling charges

Sorry to hear that Roy. Tell your wife that some of your fishing friends have her mother in their thoughts and prayers.

I didn't have as much self restraint as Brock and spent the most out of the group of us. Although, it doesn't look like to much.
If anyone goes there, make sure you stop at five guys burger in Patriot Place. Great burgers and fries.

Although, it doesn't look like to much. . It's amazing how much a "small bag" of tackle can add up to.

Not tackle related but equipment. Over on BCB board discussion about two mods for trolling motor. Someone came up with a quick release lever for adjusting trolling motor height instead of trying to use the often hard to turn knob. The better one is the Trolling Pro which I ordered. It goes over your bearing to control torque. You know how if you hit high power the motor wants to twist and turn. This helps by putting easily adjusted pressure on lower shaft to control twist. If anyone is interested in either item, let me know and I'll post a link. The Trolling Pro was under $25.
