I've never seen an Evolve frog before. It's has an interesting hook arrangement. I can picture this one actually having a better hook up ratio than the other type of hollow body frogs, where the body must first be compressed to expose the hooks. The question will be how much "slop" the hook arrangement latches onto at the end of the cast? It should work well in chestnuts. I'll spring for one and report back..........in a few months! I bought some Stanley-Jigs-Ribbit-Double-Take-Hooks for rigging Ribbit and Horny Toad frogs. I'll report back how they work. www.basspro.comBob
