We finally had a meeting of Green Mountain State Bassmasters and we would be interested in joining in the club vs. club tournament on Aug. 15. We have a tournament scheduled for that day, but we would cancel that to join the club vs. club. At this point I don't have an idea of number of participants. If you organizers want us to participate, I'll get a head count.

I have not applied for a permit yet, but it sounds like there is plenty of interest to get the ball rolling. Like I stated earlier would like to keep the entry fee small, just to cover the cost of a permit, food, a trophy, and the rest goes to charity. Any ideas of a charity? I thought some of trying to purchase a life time license and have a drawing of all the youth members in the state. I know there is not many so they would have an excellent chance of winning one. Any other ideas?

I really like your idea. Or perhaps LCI? Lust some thoughts. Whatever we end up doing we definitly need to make it happen!
