Fished with my boys in shelburne bay with minnows on staturday. We got perch with the small minnows and no takers on the bigger ones.
Thought we might be on some bigger fish based on the weather but the fish continue to prove that there is a lot more to learn.
Fished again on Sunday same basic spots with worms. Again perch action. We were not out after anything but perch so everyone was happy. I on the other hand am still trying to nab another fish for the master angler program so I was fishing a big spinnerbait...got one hit...good fish broke me off because I had a weak spot in my line way up in the pole area. Must have been from a backlash before or something.
I hate it when that happens but I can't really complain...I don't get broken off too often.
Oh and wind...forgot to mention the wind...that was tons of fun with kids fishing bobbers
