April 27th and no one has posted a fish pic? Is the fishing that bad? It’s not been good for me that’s for sure. First time out fishing was inexplicably bad on the CTR but I least got three good keepers and had a few good ones on.
Second trip was on Champlain and we were cursed from the start when the trolling motor foot pedal froze up from go. Honestly, it may not have mattered much but could have saved us from a skunk but given water conditions and lack of life in most areas maybe not.
Anyway on the river there are a few spots you can still count on to get your rod bent.
Hope things get better soon for all. I believe they will but it will be a short post spawn bite so don’t miss out.
