First evening out on the lake

Finally got the boat out on the lake. Launched at St Alban's Bay. Water temp was around 64. Had one good smallmouth on in about 7' of water on a Scotty's McFly that came unbottoned. Landed a few largemouth in shallow water. A good sized pike also stole my new favorite fly.

Curious to know if St Alban's bay is better known for largemouth than smallmouth?

Looks like a good day to be on the water. I've only been up that one for a couple days 5-6 years ago. I want say the bay is large mouth area although this time of the year, you are likely to find smallie's anywhere looking to spawn. Don't you hate them toothy critters? I know I do.
