I stop over at the Larabee Access today and both ramp are open to launch boats. Somebody (I'm jealous) was out on the lake fishing. From the ramps it's open water as far north and south as you can see. Some of the bays still have ice, but the drop to the channnel is clear to fish.

I hope they finish the spring prep on mine soon so I can get on the water. NY non-resident license is $70.00. You can get them on-line, and their catch and release season has been on since December and runs till 2nd weekend in June.

Few few of us from Southern Vt BAss are going out of Larabees Saturday. I was there at 1:30 this morning, dont ask, dead flat water, no ice, nice morning.

I saw the same boat that was at Larabee yesterday drive past my house headed that way again today. If they finish my boat soon I'll be there this weekend too!
