Thanks! Its the end of summer anyway (did I just say that??!) so who knows how long it'll take. If one of them is truly interested and its a matter of months rather than years we might work out some sort of a creative arrangement.

yup, he wanted the fancyboy terrova with ipilot and the sonars but couldn't swing my asking price. I took a little less than my ideal but I kept my map chips to make up for that...and I no longer need to store the boat over the winter or respond to emails and phone calls and show my boat through the winter/spring...that's worth something! I think we both left happy. I don't want to jinx myself so I'll keep comments about the new one to myself for now.

Roy, its official--the new rig has been purchased! 2003 pantera classic, as clean as they come. I had a tense moment today, Id driven almost 14 hours to take a final loook at it and buy it, and the wire fromy bank went haywire when my banks phone and internet went out, and his banks power went out. For an hour or so I thought my 2-day trip might turn into 5 days! Got baxk on rhe road about 5 hours later than I thought, its pouring etc, so im currently holed up in Erie, PA with no intention of leaving till morning. Now to put a new trolling motor and sonars on it!  |
