I was just looking at the top 10 LMB & SMB weighed in during the LCI this weekend. I just noticed that 6 of the top 10 LMB weighed in at stations on the northern end of the lake. It has been that way in each of the last 3 seasons. 2007 is the last year where a majority of the LMB were weighed in at southern weigh stations. Just curious if there are more people fishing the derby up that way, or if the northern part of the lake is getting that much better for LMB. What do you guys think?

I did notice this year that the launch at Larabees was not that full. It seemed easy to find a spot to park. Not much boat traffic either. I was wondering if some went north fearing the 114 boat tournament out of Ti.
Interesting trend. I think that the fishing in the south is as good as it has been and maybe it is just that more people fished the northern end thus creating more opportunity for the big LM.

;D I think all of the big fish have moved north and we should encourage more people to go north to fish for them ;D
