Hey Roy - I know you don't normally watch the Bass Masters Classic but you might want to check out this years program. The way some worked bladed jigs/chatter baits was something to see. Very slow in high 40's low 50 degree water with your swimbait trailer was very effective. Can't say I've ever worked them that slow before but will give it a try now.

Good observation Brian. A lot will be made about the role the Livingston Lures crank bait played, but I sure saw a bunch of bass with "chattabaits" in their throats!

Randy brought Livingston Lures to Bass University and we all got one. Mine ended up being a lipless crank. I like the concept but I'm not sure if the sound was the trigger for Randy or that it had a different wider wobble and dove deeper that got him those additional larger kickers.
