I always look forward to walleye fishing in the fall. Lots of fish around this time of year and some big ones too, but when it comes down to eating fish you can't beat the smaller ones. Its been an up and down season so far. Some evenings have been good while some others all you got was a good sunset; Tonight was an exceptionally good night, not so much for the fish I caught but more for the company I had. My oldest son is in town from "Montany" for a wedding and we had a chance to try the CT River this evening. Started out real slow and real cold and windy. Shane is not used to New England weather anymore. The damp cold is way worse than the dry cold like what the mountain west gets. But for awhile just about dark he forgot about the cold. We landed 12 walleye, kept 7 under 16" (per CT River rules NH)and one he got that was 18"; These are going to make a fine meal and some great fish chowder. ;D

Looks like some good late fall action! At least it feels like late fall. Lots of snow showers in the hills yesterday. Trailer parts will be here Monday evening, hope they fit

Love Walleye and agree it is one of the best tasting fish out there.
