If anyone is interested, Dick's has a deal going on Live Target baits. Buy one for $9.99 and get TWO free. I've always wanted to try the side ways top water bait fished like a frog so for $3.33 ea figured it was worth a try. The hard baits were also on sale. Dick's at Crossgates had a display over flowing so they left another box of them beside bin. With some discipline for a change I only bought the three of those plus some replacement chatter baits. Pike were rough on me last year.....

I assume you mean the one meant to look like a bluegill? I have one. It is really easy to walk and can be walked back and forth with little forward movement. Problem for me lately is rarely having good topwater fishing conditions. Maybe this will be the year it picks back up.

I'm thinking more fishing like a frog over pads or scum where you can't throw a Plopper. That and I've never caught one bass on a Plopper. And I've thrown them quite a bit. I haven't given up on there because I've seen them work especially on SM but I haven't had any catches and only a couple hits. I have the mid size (forget the number).

I have never even gotten a bite on a Plopper! Just crazy! Looks so good! I hear by challenge Roy to learn the ways of the plopper this year! Upper 60s low 70s is plopper magic time. 130 size is best.

Not taking that challenge because that lure probably won’t even be in the boat this year.
